Getting Started

Getting Started BUilding

Getting the right tools for the job is important because you want to be prepared for what you're about to tackle. But that doesn’t mean you need to go out and buy everything on the shelf (although you might want to consider buying like ten tape measures because I guarantee it will be the one thing you are always losing! Seriously!). There are a few items you will want to get right off the bat that you can’t live without and are versatile enough they will get you by until you can expand your tool collection.

Getting Started in The kitchen

I’ve fine tuned the way I cook and what recipes I use and if you keep your pantry stocked with certain herbs and spices you are good to go with anything you want to tackle. Anything else is for the crazy advanced cook. I’m just focused on good ol’ family, friendly, good eatin’!

Getting started sewing

Sewing is a great hobby to get into because the start up is minimal and it won’t break the bank to buy what you need. There are a few items that are essential to get started based on what I have used.

Today, I have grown to be so confident with who I am and what I can do, I’m not afraid to take on a challenge. It’s now a part of my daily life to discover what’s out there in this world, and tackle every experience I can. And so should you!
